Foundations and Legal Aspects of Special Education

This is an introductory course that provides an overview of the nature and
educational implications of serving students with disabilities and emphasizes
the legal aspects of special education at national, state, and local levels.
Relevant legislation associated with the identification, education and
evaluation of students with disabilities will be included in this foundations
course.
