Research Assistant

A student may take no more than 2cr of Research Assistant for credit in any semester and may take no more than 3cr of Research Assistant to count towards the number of credits required for graduation. To apply for a Research Assistant for credit, a student must fill out an application, in conjunction with the supervising faculty member, that explains 1) the learning objective(s) for the student in performing the research assistance and 2) the written work product on which the student will be graded for the credit. It is expected that for each credit of Research Assistant awarded, the student will complete 42.5 hours of meaningful (non-clerical) work. Research Assistant credit will continue to be graded P/F.
